Hi,

Not sure really what's happening or where this going at the mo. We've been TTC for about 10 months now, so far nothing. I bought 200 oivualtion strip tests and I think for a period of around 3/4 months I used these daily so I had proof nothing was happening. I've had bloods done and they want me to go for more, between day 1-5, I've also had a internal exam which thankfully came back fine, the sonographer even showed me my womb and folicals etc and said I was healthy which is a huge relief. I'm now on day 48 of my period cycle and I'm desperate to have the next round of blood tests but it's just not happening, I've been doing tests daily, I'm not ovulating and I'm not pregnant either. I am getting on Saturday so I'm wondering if this month I'll miss a period.
Nor really sure what I'm writing or looking for to be honest. Has anyone else been in this position before? I'm 35, 36 in March, parter is 37, neither of us have any kids

I skipped a period a few months after stopping the pill. And randomly the second month after I had a laparoscopy. First month my period came as normal. Are you usually regular?

Hi
The same thing happened to me. I couldn’t get a positive ovulation test result and all my blood tests came back fine but they found tiny immature follicles in my ovary showing that I don’t release any mature eggs. It’s great that your ovaries are fine. It sounds like they might put you on a pill that makes you ovulate?
I used to always have a period, although they’d be a bit irregular, but for the past 4 months I’ve skipped 3 periods which is very unlike me! Waiting to start my ovulation tablets but can’t until I’ve had a period so they’ve given me progesterone to bring a period on. They said it’s probably stress related even if I don’t realise it. Worrying about TTC doesn’t help but how can we control it :(

Hi, sorry to hear about your journey so far. I am the same. I have tested daily for ovulation and all tests were negative. I have irregular periods, averaging between 31 - 44 day cycles. I was tested for PCOS in 2017 and it was negative. My blood tests didn't show anything either, however, the doctors would not investigate further as I was not TTC at the time. I tried again with investigations a year ago and the gynaecologist suggested I leave it as it is, have a hysterectomy or start the menopause early - I am 30. I was referred to the gynaecologist for excessive hormones, lumps in my breasts - 5 at a time sometimes. I am now TTC and have my GP in a week. Hopefully 3rd time lucky and they can help me find out if I am fertile or not. But just in case not, I have paid privately for a fertility blood test and will be doing that around the same time as my GP appointment. Starting this journey is hard!!
