Swap freeze-all to fresh cycle?

Hello,

We were planning to do a freeze all cycle with PGT-A. However we ended up with a fertilisation of a single egg :(

I have already opted out of the testing, but I am now strongly considering if I should go ahead with a fresh transfer instead of freezing. The only advantage of freezing as I see it is to let the body rest after the stimulation drugs.

What would you do in my situation?
Is it feasible to change the plan at such a short notice? (Egg collection was yesterday, so I should still be able to start progesterone).

@TurquoiseVixen I think you really need to talk to your clinic to see what may or may not be possible. Best of luck whatever you choose to do.

I'd ask your clinic but for me it would depend on your protocol? If it was fairly low dose stims etc then I'd be inclined to do a fresh transfer day 3 as I'd be too worried about it not making blastocyst or not surviving the thaw

Depending on how it looks on day 3 I'd be inclined to do a day 3 transfer too, little benefit in waiting until day 5 if it's the only one

Thanks for your opinions! Talked to the clinic, but unfortunately they are saying that they can't allow the fresh transfer since they would have expected me to start taking hormones (progesterone and oestrogen) from the day of the collection. I am very disappointed that no one talked to me about the options earlier on.
