Dos/ don't after egg retrieval

Hi all had my egg retrieval today, is there things I should be doing or avoiding? Like can I get a hot bath, get my hair done, go to the pool etc? Me and OH have booked a couple nights away and really looking forward to relaxing and destressing x

I personally wouldn't submerge in water in the days after, a needle went through your vagina to drain the follicles in your ovaries and there could be a risk of infection. I don't see why you couldn't get your hair done though. The only thing I would also recommend avoiding is heavy lifting and twisting, there is a chance your ovaries are still enlarged and there is a risk of torsion.

Hehe, well I always treat myself. Figure whilst the eggs are safely not inside the body can't do much harm. I don't tend to have a fresh transfer though so maybe if I was I wouldn't have too much!
