Meriofert

Hi is anyone using this or planning to use it? Thoughts please

I am on this now. First cycle was on 300 fostimon for first 6 days and then moved to meriofert. This time stims protocol is 100% meriofert from start
I believe they have made the change in my case in the hope of getting better quality eggs. I responded well first protocol in terms of numbers of follicles & eggs collected and fertilised, but only had 2 embryos at the end.
This time I have 10 follicles, but they are all different sizes and may only have 3 ready for EC. Not sure that is down to the meriofert or something else. Only time will tell if quality is any better

My second stimulation protocol was on 225iu of meriofert and 225 IU of gonal-f. Unfortunately, we saw a very uneven growth of follicles, which resulted in only 2 mature eggs collected. There were several smaller follicles, but the doctor chose not to wait for them.
I did not have any side effects from meriofert. Mixing was fairly straightforward, but not as simple as final where everything is ready.
One thing I hated is the amount of single-use plastic/metal/glass waste I was producing, when I used meriofert!
