Injecting cetrotide cold

Sorry I'm on with another questions. I'm on my last cetrotide this morning and the first wouldn't mix properly so I took another out of the fridge and injected straight away. The leaflet says don't inject cold, is this just for comfort or can it actually stop it working? Just panicking I don't want anything going wrong before egg collection. Thanks

@try9ng I really worried about this the first time I injected as my nurse had told me to do it straight out of the fridge if possible, and then when I read the instructions it completely contradicted that

I checked and was told it was 100% a comfort thing.

Thank you for replying I was really worried I had messed it up. That's good to know

@try9ng if you wait half an hour if dissolves more easily. That instruction to wait has actually been added since 2018 when I did my first set of cycles. It's fine to inject straight out the fridge just harder to dissolve the drug

Best of luck x
