Pregnancy Tests Not Getting Darker.

Hey. I am 12dp5dt and been testing positive since 6dp, my tests are not getting darker, I will post a picture of this morning tests, but they have been the same for the last couple of days.

I did have a bleed so I don't know if possibly I am having a chemical but I didn't expect the lines to get lighter each day.

I am so very confused.

Hi @amylouu I don't think I've ever had a dark line on those type of tests. Could you try a digi or FRER?

@MabelG I have done 2 digital and both came back pregnant, I am waiting for my first response they are due tomorrow so I will do one then. 🤞🏻 xx

I second getting a better test. I'm 10dp5dt and also got bfp 6dp5dt on frer. I tested once since with a digital but haven't dared test again with a line test. I know if it weren't very dark I'd panic. OTD is tomorrow so I'm using my other frer then but very nervous about it.

@amylouu FRER pick up VERY small amounts of hcg and can be misleading. Your best to get a blood beta hcg test at your clinic to confirm if the pregnancy is viable if you're worried about line progression (this is how my chemical pregnancy was confirmed).

@2mumlife I was worried until I did todays test I am more at ease now and when I did a digital yesterday it did say pregnant, I am very worried as I was bleeding over the weekend but I am remaining hopeful as fhe test was so much brighter today. X

Those lines show great progression! Even before today's. I think your mistake was trying to compare to a different type of test. Hopefully the blood isn't an issue 🤞

Hi, I had a chemical pregnancy last month, confirmed by blood tests with the clinic as like you my tests were faint using FRERs and there wasn't a huge progression. If I were you I would really push for a blood test. Happy to post my test pics if you want xx

@dogmam thank you for getting back, my two tests are like this today so there is defiantly progression. what do you think? I am sorry about your chemical, my clinic refused to do anything because of the shortage with blood bottles xx
