Does anyone know exactly how to use the patches ? I know I have to change the patch every 2 days but my question is ?
Do I change it every time at the same time , like if I put one on at 12 afternoon do I have to change it exactly at 12 afternoon again 2 days later ?
Does it matter if I change it at different times ? When I take the old patch off , do I put new one on straight away ? Thanks for any advice I get :)

Ideally you should change it at the same time on the alternating days, and yes, you take the old ones off.

I usually take them off the old ones before my morning shower and place new ones afterwards. They aren’t the nicest and give me skin irritation so I like to wash without them on.

Also, don’t moisturise before you put them on as they’ll slide off!

@Porridgeislife thank you lovely for your reply and advice 😍Flowers

@Porridgeislife hey , can I ask you something ! ? I put my first patch on below my belly button on the side of belly but when I bend over to lift or something it feels like it’s crunching up and I feel like it’s going to lose it’s stickyness because of that ? One corner edge is already coming away tiny bit ? Is this normal ? I have a job where I lift all day so I bend over a lot , I feel like I have to stand up all this time for it to stay nice and neat ☹️

@Porridgeislife if it comes off could I just change it for another one ? But still keep to my routine to change it every 2 days ??

@ShareLove firstly, wishing you lots of luck on your journey!
I use my patches in the morning after my shower - mainly so I remember to do them! But I always put the new one on straight after I've taken the old one off. If I use 1 patch I alternate legs as they can make my skin sensitive. Currently on my 2 patches alternate days so when I change them I just put them higher/lower than the last set.
I would try to do them as close to the time you did them before.
Also, little tip from me - leave the hair on the top of your legs to grow. I'm one to shave it all off and find they used to slip off but having not shaved...wow...they don't want to come off 😄 x

@Bluemeadowbaby heyy thanks for the advice ! I place them on my lower belly as advised by my nurse :) are you having a FET also ? Is that why you’re on the patches ? Xx Flowers

@ShareLove I just read the rest of your post and saw about the tummy 🙈 I guess we can't grow hair on our tummy's lol. Say today was your fresh patch and it came off tomorrow, put another one on and then still replace it the day after. It's a nightmare when they fall off isn't it. I'm doing my first FET cycle. I had a little boy last year through a fresh ivf cycle so this is from his batch. I'm putting all my eggs in this basket (excuse the pun!) as ivf is our only hope as I sadly had to have both my tubes removed as a result from endometriosis 😔 keeping my fingers crossed for your cycle! X

The patch seems to stick ok now after iv been at work all day and it hasn’t come off so I am but more relaxed now :) good luck with your FET as I am also in the same position 😍 my trasfer is in 4 weeks 😍 when is yours ?

@ShareLove glad to hear the patches have stuck for you! How very exciting! It soon rolls round, have you anything nice planned in the meantime to keep you busy? Fingers crossed all being well at my lining scan on Wednesday transfer will be next week!! 😳 I've been so busy the last few weeks it's just hit me that it's occurring 😄 x

@Bluemeadowbaby omg how exiting for you ! I wish I was one week away from trasfer haha Smile I am also anxious about my scan for lining in 3 weeks time ! I’m thinking the worst that maybe lining isn’t thick enough or there is a problem . But I hope all is fine ! I wouldn’t want to cancel the cycle one week before trasfer that would really be annoying Grin I have little bit plannned to keep me busy , but nothing too big or too far away from home , just couple of day away in a different city in a hotel next week 😍 but I am very patient person so I don’t mind waiting ! I also work so time really goes fast anyways 😍 how are yo feeling about trasfer ? Do you know what grade embryo you’ll be having trasferred ? Mine will be 3AA . Smile I did one egg collection and got 5 in the freeze due to OHSS . Didn’t get fresh cycle chance . So doing FET now :)

@ShareLove I'm loving your positivity 😍 sounds like you have a lot to keep you busy for the next 3 weeks. I'm feeling okay about transfer but I'm also feeling as tho I'm sitting on the fence about how to properly feel. Maybe because I've been there a couple of times before I know how I am after...I'm one to really get my hopes up so trying to keep a steady head just in case it's not how I imagine it will be. I have 2 embryos frozen, a 3BA and 2BA - I'm not sure which one they'll transfer but I imagine possible the 3 🤔 it's taken us since April this year to get to this stage, we've had cancellations due to getting Covid, cycle timings not right with clinic and then the clinic relocating - trying not to think of the whole "it's a sign it's not meant to be" 😂 x
