Bleeding on 8 DPT fresh cycle

Hi everyone,

So I'm 9 dpt today and was due for a beta today or a urine test on Sunday (24th) but yesterday morning I started very light spotting. I thought it was implantation bleeding initially but it got heavier during the day and turned into light flow by the evening. The bleeding has continued today and now it feels like a light period. I called the clinic while they said it doesn't sound very good they asked me to continue with pessaries until the urine test on Sunday as I can't go for beta today. I think it's extremely unlikely that the implantation has worked but just wanted to see if anyone has had similar experience? Is this actually period? Very upset right now

Happened to me too, started from 8dp5dt as very light spotting, over the next 2 days it turned into a full blown period. I was told this is normal in a fresh cycle when implantation doesn't happen as this is the equivalent of 14dpo. Clinics always insist on carrying on with medications until the OTD, I remember inserting the vaginal pessaries while crying. Sorry @yyica ❤️

Happened to me on a fet, so not quite the same ! Thought I had implantation bleeding as it was very light spotting and was brown in colour, it stopped, started, I called the clinic who said to up my pessaries, I had a day of nothing and then all of a sudden a major bleed, it was all over in a day. I'm sorry you're going through this it's bloody devastating

Forgot to say I too had to continue the pessaries for another week, it was like some joke as it was quite clear it had failed after a bleed like that

Happened to me and it turns out my progesterone is extremely low so the progesterone I was taking did not hold off the bleed or support implantation so in future transfers I would insist on a progesterone blood test on transfer day.

This happened to me too with a fresh I started full blown bleeding on 7dpt @Dochas121 mine was the same issue I’ve asked for blood tests on the day of my frozen transfer and they have doubled my progesterone xx

I had this in my fresh cycle @yyica at 7dp5dt. My beta was at 9dp5dt so I still went and tested at home, despite having a proper bleed and did test faintly positive. The bleeding increased but my hcg did triple but remained low. It did sadly end in a chemical pregnancy. But for my FET, I have been given extra progesterone.

This happened to me 6 days post fresh transfer with a full heavy bleed and spotting from the day before. I like others on here also had low progesterone. On my subsequent goes (FET and fresh) I've been on lentogest injections and higher dose suppositories too. It's absolutely gutting
