6DP5DT - spotting/cramping

hey.

need some reassurance, I done a test this afternoon (which I'll post a picture of) and I'm pretty sure it's positive.

but I have been spotting pink/brown since yesterday evening so I am super worried, has anyone else had this and it been a positive outcome?

I had spotting almost everyday from about 4.5 weeks until 8 weeks. Brown/rust colour but sometimes turned red. It stopped suddenly and the rest of my pregnancy was very smooth.

I can see a faint line there too!

@Betsyboo87 I'll show a picture of my tests now hun. I am 9dp5dt today, still bleeding & had little clots yesterday tmi. I don't know if it's all over for me. it's like I'm on a light period 🤷🏼‍♀️ but these are my tests and the progression.

I had terrible cramps and bright red blood at 5+3 on and off until 10 weeks after IVF - I was very sure than no embryo/baby could survive the blood. But she did. From my googling, if you see red blood when pregnant there's a 50% chance of getting your baby at the end. So just because you're cramping and bleeding it doesn't necessarily mean it's all over. If the lines are progressing then it's a good sign and you can only wait and see.
Is your progesterone enough? Can your clinic check your levels, I went up to 3 suppositories a day - it was such a scary time

I agree with the pp that you should give your clinic a call for their advice. Mine never actually seemed bothered by the bleeding but they did do blood tests to check everything was as it should be and that my hcg was rising as expected.

@MrsC2018 I did ring the clinic on Monday due to the bleeding & positive tests but they said they can't do anything as it's to early and I just have to wait, I mentioned having bloods but they still said no as it's not clinical and there is a shortage of blood bottles. my tests are still the same, I wouldn't say they are lighter but I wouldn't say they are darker, I'm waiting for some more first response to arrive, but I did have a pregnant on clear blue this morning.

I am no longer bleeding more spotting the tiniest amount, but I feel as though I had a light period over the weekend, no where near full flo but I am still petrified those lines are going to disappear I have turned into a crazy person testing and I don't know how to stop x

@Betsyboo87 i did ring my clinic for advice but they completely was not bothered by the bleeding, they said it could be that my IVF haven't worked, or it could be normal as many people have bleeds while pregnant, she was not very helpful or reassuring. if anything it made me worse.

I think you need to be as kind to yourself as possible now, of course you're not going to stop testing and worrying. So halve your stress by not stressing that you're going to do that and you're half way there.

Keep doing tests if you want to but bear in mind that they won't get darker everyday because the HCG doubles every 2-3 days I think. You've got a bit of a wait ahead as there's nothing to see on a scan until 6 weeks at the earliest, but that time will pass and you will soon know. It's horrific, and nothing will stop you questioning or looking for answers so forgive yourself for that and just get through these next few days. Then the few days after that etc

@MrsC2018 advice is exactly right. Allow yourself to feel like this and accept it. Remember your also taking a load of hormones too and they have an effect too. The fog really cleared for me when I stopped them at 10 weeks. When I was in your situation someone on here recommended finding a good box set and binge watching. I ended up watching the whole 7 seasons of Gilmore girls throughout my pregnancy and I found it a great way to relax and take my mind off things. I also went to bed ridiculously early in the first trimester because I didn’t stress when I was asleep!

I had some bleeding on and off over three IVF pregnancies, but my frer progression looked exactly like this after my 3rd FET and all turned out fine x

well I am 12dp5dt and my tests are not getting any darker or lighter so I really don't know what's going on- I will post a picture of my todays test. I am waiting for first response tests to arrive but at the moment they still haven't turned up.

I am expecting the lines to get darker but they ain't so I am unsure if I am possibly having a chemical due to all the bleeding I had over the weekend. It's made me question everything.

@MrsC2018 thank you for getting back to me, I honestly just don't know how to feel at the moment, I am trying to take one day at a time and take it from there, I am still really trying to remain optimistic.

@amylouu I wouldn’t compare the lines on different brands of test as they have different sensitivities. Wait until you’ve got your frer and go from there. Keeping everything crossed for you.
