Hello

Please let me know and apologies in advance if this is not a suitable post due to having one successful pregnancy.

I am beyond grateful to have my wonderful son who is 16 months old. He was however born via induction after my waters broke at 25 weeks.

I have since had 3 miscarriages - 1 blighted ovum requiring surgical management, 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 delayed miscarriage with surgical management at 8 weeks (embryo stopped developing at 6).

We had our first consultation tonight with our doctor and we will be starting investigations as soon as possible. I have to wait until my cycle returns as I only had surgery a week and a half ago and still getting positive pregnancy tests.

Excited and terrified in equal measure as well and DH have agreed this is our last chance saloon and if we have one more MC that's our fertility journey over as I cannot handle another heartbreak.

Just saying hello and welcome any shared experiences and advice

Xx

I have 4 mcs , three late first trimester.
I did every test going but looks like I had an immune issue ( body saw embryo like a foreign body to be attacked) I was told this response often triggers after a successful first pregnancy as body gets primed after that. It’s worth having immune testing on your list of checks - try Shehata or Gorgy . Best of luck and sorry for your losses , I know how heart breaking they are
