First cycle on letrozole.

Hello 👋

I have pcos and very irregular cycles. 😥

I'm currently on cycle day 11 and I took letrozole 2.5mg from days 2 - 6.

I went for a monitoring scan which shows my follicles to be small at 6 - 10mm. Is this really bad? Does it mean the medication isn't working?

My Dr wants me to go for another scan on cycle day 15 to see if there is any follicular development and if not she will up my dose next cycle.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with letrozole? I'm feeling a little deflated.

Little update incase anyone was wondering (probably not). I'm now CD 13 and have finally got an estrogen rise on my clearblue fertility monitor. I'm wondering is this a good sign?
Scan in a few days and I'm getting nervous. 😬

I'm glad you're being scanned again. I've ovulated as late as cd20 on letrozole.

Oh that good to know that you can still ovulate late on letrozole. How was your experience?

Sorry only just seen this. I did 6 x 7.5mg letrozole rounds. Ovulated 4 out of 6 but didn't get pregnant. Now doing IVM.

My first cycle of letrozole was last month. I ovulated CD21........ and I'm pregnant 6+1 🥲 thanks be to God.
