Double transfer - daft Q

Morning ladies. Silly question, I had a double transfer & just got a bfp but Im spotting & some of its bright red. Assuming only 1 embryo implanted, what happens to the other embryo? Do I bleed that out? Could that be why Im spotting? Does it just disappear somehow?!

I had a double transfer and became pregnant with a singleton. I didn’t have any bleeding for the one that didn’t take, assume it was just absorbed somehow.

If you are bleeding, especially if it’s red, you should contact your clinic. While it can be quite common and often nothing to worry about, it’s always best to get it checked out.

I called clinic & as its only brown spotting they are not concerned, my tests are getting darker so Im hoping all is good.
