Those who had clomid or similar for DC1...

I had clomid to have DD. My GP doesn't seem to know the answer as to what happens if we want DC2. Do I still have to try and get pregnant for a set amount of time before anyone will help, or can I get clomid again quite easily?

Hoping some of you might have been through this. The waits to be seen in hospital for gynae round here are over a year. Just wondering how soon I might have to try and get referred to have any hope of having another DC.

I left it about 9 months before going to the GP. Put me straight back on metformin and did some repeat bloods for me. Referred us to the fertility clinic at our local hospital. They then prescribed me clomid (which didn't work) and then letrozole. It does depend on your area as to what they'll offer in terms of treatment for secondary infertility.

I am in the same boat. Conceived with Letrozole for DS, been trying since May for number 2 and think I will contact GP after this cycle in the hope I can be put back on 🤞🏼
