Progesterone suppositories and cervical position

I was just wondering whether anyone knows if there is a link between progesterone and cervical position during your luteal phase?

I'm on 800mg of cyclogest suppositories and 25mg lubion injections during my luteal phase due to recurring chemical pregnancies.

I'm currently 12dpo and my cervix is really high. Normally by now it would feel lower and firmer. I'm wondering whether it's the progesterone that is keeping it high as this is the first month I've been on such a high dose.

Does anyone know?!

Hi @Emmyanddreams I can't speak from experience of that dose of progesterone but I found that during my 2WW after embryo transfer when I was on 400mg per day, my cervix did move position.

Are you TTC naturally or currently in the 2WW or what are your circumstances? Or are you asking because you think that your period may be delayed or you could get a BFP..?

Hi @lucymills1234. I'm currently in my 2ww trying to conceive naturally.
We've been trying for two years. We've had all the tests, my husband has 1% morphology and I have low progesterone. Since being prescribed cyclogest in May, I have had 3 chemical pregnancies. Before this I never had even a hint of a line on a test so they are quite confident it's a progesterone issue. I was only on 400mg a day so from this month they have increased it to 800mg plus the injections. From next month I will also start Letrozole to strengthen my ovulation.
This is the plan for the next three months, after that we will be moving forward with ICSI.

The reason why I'm wondering is purely because with all of my chemical pregnancies my cervix was high and I had a positive pregnancy test from 11dpo. On the months I haven't conceived my cervix was low by this point.
This month my cervix is really high but I tested at 12dpo and it was negative. I'm just wondering really whether the high cervix is purely due to the high dose of progesterone or whether it's actually a good sign. I'll be testing again tomorrow as I'll be 14dpo. I'm not feeling hopeful tbh.

Well just an update. I'm now 14dpo and I've tested again this morning with frer and it's negative. My cervix is still super high so I think it must be the high dose progesterone which is keeping it high.
