Anyone got any Natural ivf cycle stories please

Hi Everyone, we've just had a failed 4th cycle of IVF. 1st cycle was fresh with embryo glue which resulted in twin pregnancy but ended in MMC, 2nd FET with embryo glue long protocol failed to implant, 3rd FET long protocol resulted in single pregnancy but ended in MMC, 4th FET short protocol chemical pregnancy. After our third round a consultant at our clinic suggested a natural cycle but we were nervous about it so went for a short protocol on cycle 4. For cycle 5 the consultant is really pushing for natural with endo scratch and embryo glue because my body responds well and she thinks it would be a good path for us. Anyone got any Natural cycle stories? Natural after medicated that worked. I've also never had a scratch before so would be interested to hear what you think of those. Any input would be great, thanks everyone xx

Are these embryos all from the same egg collection? Or have you done 4 egg collections and 4 transfers?

Sounds like a lot of heartache. I'm sorry Flowers

I haven't had a natural cycle, but I did have a scratch a couple of years ago and my natural FET was successful. I'm doing another FET this month, but my clinic no longer does scratches. No evidence they work apparently. They've also stopped using glue which I had last time too! I was a little disappointed because I would have liked everything to be the same as last time. The scratch, for me, was uncomfortable but not painful, and it certainly did no harm.

I'm very sorry for your losses ❤️ have you had any recurrent miscarriage testing done? I'd recommend that before another transfer.

I've only done mild ivf so hopefully uoull get some other replies for that.

@tiggerwhocamefortea they are all from the same egg collection yes. X

@holskey it would be a natural FET for us too. I've always said no to a scratch because the evidence wasn't there but I'm definitely going to try it next time. Was the natural FET the only FET you had ever done or have you done medicated too? X

I've only done one FET and it was natural (I know that makes me very lucky!) Couldn't have a fresh transfer because of OHSS. I have unexplained infertility. My periods have always been regular and I ovulate, so whatever my problem is, it's not hormonal or lining etc, so a natural FET makes sense.

I second getting recurrent mc testing. There might be something going on here. I had 4 losses in a row and in third trimester after immunes treatment. Consultants said it’s rare to have so many losses in a row and was likely an immunes issue
