Hi all
I did a day 5 frozen blast transfer 9 days ago and although test is not due until Monday, it's our second go at ivf and I couldn't wait. I have tried Asda early test and both negative on day 7 and 8 from the same sample that I used for digital CLear blue which was positive 1-2 weeks (did two had two positives) and had two clear blue pale positive lines on day 6 and 7. I am on aspirin 75mg. My google trigger finger has found that aspirin can cause false positives and now due to inconsistent results I don't know whether to be overjoyed or sad? Any advice?

@rnjwe fingers crossed for you. This is such an anxious time. Aspirin can't give you a false positive on a pregnancy test.

Literally the only ways to get false positives is to get what is called an evaporation line which is usually when you read a cheap test outside the time frame (because when it dries the test line can go pink). Occasionally these happen with other tests to. or to take the test when you've had a trigger injection and it hasn't yet left your system.

If neither of these are the case then tentative congratulations are in order....I will have everything crossed for you to have a sticky bean xxx

@rnjwe incidentally I have had evaporation lines on clearblue line tests - they are not the best to choose but the digitals are reliable!

So if I were you I would be tentatively excited xxx

I have been consistently positive on clear blue. It's the other brands that keep saying negative which is confusing. Oh well will just have to wait for Monday I guess and hope. Google is my demon haha. Keep trying to work out what my HCG numbers should be and how they should be doubling so should be reflected in cheaper tests and know I need to stop!

I had negatives on 8dp5dt, first super faint positive that evening, so it's probably just that the asda tests weren't sensitive enough for you because your hcg levels haven't risen enough yet. From other threads on here, it seems I was quite late to get my bfp but he's 15 months now so all good! Some of us just have late implanters.

If you have a bfp within the test time frame, congratulations!
