Hi, everyone :)

Hope everyone's well! Not really sure what I'm asking here or posting for, would just be happy to chat to women going through a similar situation?

To be brief - luckily conceived our wee boy after just five months back in March 2020, but sadly lost him halfway through pregnancy and he was born at the end of July. Truly something that has changed me completely as a person, as much as that's hard to admit at times.

It has now been 15 cycles of "full effort" TTC - OPKs, SMEP, Preseed, Proceive, pineapples, aspirin, flaxseed, hot water bottles on my feet, acupuncture...you all know the drill 🙈

Day 21 bloods came back fine as did partner's SA. Been waiting on an appointment from the NHS fertility clinic for so long that we caved and booked a HyCoSy privately after my acupuncturist asked if I had fibroids in response to me telling her about frequent pains and it panicked me into getting it checked out!

Anyway, that wasn't actually that brief 😂 Just wanted to say hi and see if anyone else was in a similar situation? Thanks and hope you're all having a nice Friday night 💕

Hi @KerryW87
So sorry to hear about your little boy, what an awful experience to go through 💐 Sending love.

I completely sympathise with you as have also been trying for what feels like a long time (18 months but 24 full effort cycles as I have short cycles). It is exhausting and such a lonely process. And also very expensive! Don't have a clue what is causing it but like you, I am waiting for NHS investigations and my first scan is on 12 October. DH and I have agreed that we will go for private IVF in January if still havnt got any further.

I am also planning to book a hycosy privately as feel I will go more grey waiting for it on the NHS and do get a bit of left side pain too. Can I ask how you booked yours? I contacted one clinic and they said I needed to have a consultation first.

Hope you are enjoying your Friday night too!
