So after a 90 day diet and supplements we are re testing and test is on Tuesday - then have to wait 3 weeks for the results!

Really hoping this djet and supplements have made a difference so we can cycle again

Dna fragmentation- anyone else on this journey?

Hi! We are about 3 months behind you on this journey, just got my husbands test results and looks like we finally have an explanation for our ‘unexplained’ infertility. So will be doing diet changes and supplements from now. Plus lots of cooling action lol.

I really hope the results of your retest are positive! Would love to see a success story with this.

Meant to add we have been through one full round of IVF, got 2 good quality blasts but both failed to implant (one fresh one frozen). I think they just stopped growing after day 5 because of the dna frag.

@Kate379 good luck for your 3 months ! We don't get our results until the end of this month but I'll definitely update you - it will be interesting to see if the diet and supplements have made any difference! Xx

Comet tests results are back !!!!

But my follow up app isn't until next Thursday

How is everyone else's clinics about giving results ?

I'm due on in 3 days so potentially could start this cycle ! Don't want to sound desperate but last time they tried making us wait 3 weeks for the results to which I said it wasn't acceptable so they found an appointment

Just sick of what feels like kicking up a fuss when I don't want to be !!

That’s great @strawberrysummer19! Really hope for good results for you!

Our clinic called my husband to give him a broad idea of the results then emailed a copy of the report to us after I wanted to know the actual numbers! Wish I hadn’t though as it was such a bleak report to look at lol! Much better that they can tell you the results in person so you can ask any questions and get more detail.

Really hope it’s good news for you!

And please don’t beat yourself up about having to chase for things or kick up a fuss. I’m sure everyone does it! You have to be your own best advocate in all this stuff :)

@Kate379 thank you - they always ask to come in on person but we've settled on a teams call !!

My dr is a waffler and is lovely but with out work it's not easy to take a couple of hours off

So we have an appointment for next Thursday but they've just emailed saying there ain't anything sooner so just have to wait which I feel is frustrating but trying not to get stressed with timings as that's something I took on board from my last one not to get too stuck on timings x

@Kate379

OMG OMG so the clinic called me back after I called them and said isn't there someone that can interpret the results and they managed to speak to someone else, they've just called me and said the results have come back LOW so we are good to go !!

The diet, supplements and cutting out sugar has certainly done something!

They said we don't even need icsi

I'm due on tomorrow so I can start this cycle !!

Wahoo xx

@strawberrysummer19 congrats that’s such great news!! May I ask what your partner did, and how long you for lol? So good to know that you can make a difference :)

@Kate379 I know I'm so happy it worked
We were told it may or may not work but wanted to give it a go before any further investigations

We were advised to take some vitamins from Marion glenville sight - I can find the link if you like
They are just really good vitamins I believe
(£35 a pot) and we both take them
Along with all the other vits which most cake from it starts with the egg

We do 1000mg of vit c and e

Completely cut out alcohol and caffeine
No pasta carbs and sugar

It was hard at first but we got used to it and now we know it worked or the combination did it makes it worth it

I'm no expertly but I'm happy to share any recipes and meals etc and what substitutes etc or answer any questions xx
