Any success stories of women who conceived and gave birth after first cycle of IVF/ICSI?

Hang in there, stims are always a nuiscance unless it's a short protocol I suppose! Keep me updated and don't hesitate to ring the nurses if in doubt!

My first time posting here after spending the last few weeks following some of your IVF/ICSI journeys which I’ve found really helpful during what feels such a lonely time!
I’m 29 and we have male factor infertility.
Currently 4dp5dt (1st cycle) and wanted to reach out to see if anyone else is in their (dreaded) 2WW? Or has had a successful first cycle.

Currently 10 weeks after 2d round of IVF/1st round of ICSI. No male infertility, just no eggs fertilised after normal IVF, hence ICSI afterwards. I have severe endometriosis at 35 yo, but eggs were good quality and after short stimulation all 4 made 5d blastocysts. After 1st long protocol IVF round pre ICSI, had 8 mature eggs with 0 embryos.

I started this topic and happy to announce I gave birth to my IVF/ICSI baby almost 2 weeks ago.

I commented on this about my first time success and two weeks later I had my second FET. My 2nd IVF baby will be here within 2 weeks 🙂

Hi can I ask what clinic did you go to & what protocol you used, as I have similar AMH but none of protocols I seem to use are working

I hope you are doing OK with Care and things are working out the way you're want!
Currently 30 weeks, been under load of pressure due to respiratory issues related to first covid then asthma but hanging in there x

Congratulations! I am 29 weeks tomorrow with a very active little bump! It is so nice to see so many positive stories from first time success. We went with Zymot sperm selection in the end and although it was an additional cost, I’d like to think it really improved our chances and gave us the healthiest sperm out of the sample!
