Hello ladies

We are a research group based at University College London and we are interested in exploring the long-term health outcomes of fertility treatments. Our previous research looking at cancer outcomes in women who underwent IVF has been published in the British Medical Journal.

We now want to look at other aspects of health (mental health, heart, respiratory etc), and wanted to hear your thoughts on this.
Have you undergone IVF and, if yes,

a) are health threats something you considered (before/during/after ART)?
b) is there anything that particularly concerns you regarding your health?
c) how was information on health threats presented to you (if at all)?
d) What are your views on how this information should be presented to the general public and people undergoing ART?

By answering these questions you will help us identify some of the major concerns and design our research in a way that we can address some of these issues and, hopefully, MAKE A CHANGE!

Thank you so much!

I did 2 cycles of ivf in 2018 and was 100% perfect before nothing to complain about health wise …. now I have anxiety, asthma, constant headaches (everyday) chest pains, dizzy, periods are more painful, sweaty, smelly and symptoms of menopause.. I’m only 36 years old
doctors think I’m faking it I know they do and nothing is ever solved, they just say bloods are normal rubbish so I have stopped going to go and just deal with it but is hard always feeling ill.
