Hi,

New to posting here so not sure if I’m in the right place. I’m wondering if anyone was accepted to use Access fertility to fund their ivf treatment. I’m waiting 2 (very long) weeks to hear back from them with an answer. Just wondering what their ‘issues’ were and if they weren’t accepted- why not? I have pcos and husband has low sperm morphology. I’m wondering if we could be refused based on those. Which seems crazy as it’s the reason we’re seeking ivf treatment Blush

Hi we are using access Fertility but we are using the 2 cycle option so no checks were needed. Hope you hear back soon x

Hi 😊 can I ask what was included in this and how much you paid? I can’t find any information stating this now and can’t remember what the lady said on the phone. Thank you xx

I think it was around 10000e for 2 cycles for us and it includes unlimited FET fresh cycle doesn't work and are lucky to have frozen embryos. It includes everything except the EU bloods and meds I think and maybe initial consultations. We had already had all tests done before going to access. They emailed us a brochure for our chosen clinic with all the info. It is expensive but if don't get lucky first time I think it's peace of mind to have a backup plan x

Also if you look up the website I think it provides info for different clinics near you x

I'm with them - just about to start first cycle.

I think it's only the refund packages that require medical checks - if for some reason you don't get on one of those packages, you can still do the other multi-cycle package with them (same treatment, just no refund if unsuccessful).

I hope you hear soon - it was two weeks wait for me but it's really quickly set up and in the clinic's hands after that.

We are with access

We only waited 5 days for a decision and wasn't quite the 2 weeks. Like pp have said, it's only the refund packages you need to be assessed. We didn't pass as I have low AMH and my partner has done 2 failed ivf before

We went for 2 cycle package unlimited fets
£8,200
On top were-
Initial scans/bloods CD 3 CD21 pelvic scan and hycosy (all done through my GP)
Meds ( ended up costing £1,700 - our quote was £1,500 but needed more stims ) due to my low AMH
Initial consultation with the clinic £220

So it can be costly but I wanted the reassurance of another cycle paid for

For one cycle alone it would cost us £6,400 with our clinic so access is definitely worth it

We've budgeted for 2 lots of 2 cycle programmes with access as financially that's just over £20k but for 4 cycles so I don't think that's too bad. And we can pay that off by next year so finically not too bad I don't think.

I love access I found them to be great for our situation x

We did the 3 cycle 50% refund package. We was eligible for the 70% refund, Although I can't remember why we went for the 50%, probably cost!
Ours cost just under £12k - not cheap. But guaranteed three cycles and unlimited fets. We was lucky to get 9 embryos from our first fresh cycle so im hoping we will get our bfp out of one of those and won't actually need to do anymore fresh cycles as it could go on for years and years if we were lucky and got alot of embryos each time, well, I don't think my mind could handle it to be honest.
We have to pay for any drugs and blood tests on top of that and any other extras we would like. But when you think a cycle alone could cost upto £7k you are definitely getting much more for your money with access.

We applied for the refund package but didn’t get accepted, I think due to my amh (it was 5.5 at the time) and low follicle count (4) although I didn’t actually call and ask. However we used the two cycle package instead.

I remember being really upset at the time when we were rejected as I thought it meant our chances were really low. But actually I’ve had two transfers since then and success with both, so it wasn’t the end of the world, and was cheaper than if we had been accepted. So don’t feel too disheartened if they say no.

Ours was about £8000 for the two cycles with no refund, I think it included everything except the meds.

Hi all, glad to be here and read your comments regarding Access Fertility. May I please ask which clinic did you choose and are you happy? Did you have success? We are looking for cheaper options possibly than Lister and CRGH. Would be happy to hear what clinic you used. Thank you 😊

Hello we are looking and access fertility but it says they can terminate the treatment if you have 2 miscarriages? It seems a bit harsh as it isn't the refund option
