hi all, we have mfi (mainly low count) and now i am 43 so also probably egg quality issues. Have one 2 year old from icsi but low blastocyst rate and multiple miscarriages over several icsi cycles in past 3 years. Was referred to recurrent miscarriage specialist and he prescribed DHEA for both me and my husband. I looked it up afterwards and found very little about its use in men but we have been taking it as instructed for about a month now. I have a follow up next month so will ask more about it then but wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience? He had some blood test results from the ivf clinic for my husband but he won't be seeing him, i am the 'patient'. TIA

Hi there @Galgal15

Hope it all worked out well for you!
Do you mind sharing what happened? Did DHEA help both of you?

Hi @Summerishere83, we only took it for a month or two. It made no difference that i know of and ultimately we decided not to put ourselves through any more fertility treatment, failed pregnancies etc. It was a difficult decision but the years of trying had been so tough and we knew it was getting even less likely to be successful with our age. We relieved to draw a line under it and happy now to be able to use our time and money for other things! Good luck to you
