Hi everyone,
I'm a long time user of mn, but name changed for this. This post is so hard for me to write.
*sorry, long.
I'm 29, we're ttc #1, been ttc for about 6 months now. I have micropolycistic ovaries, blood tests are all good (all hormonal shitload of it). My pcos doesn't seem to be insulin resistant according to blood teste. After quitting bc in Jan my periods have been 41, 30, 50, 36, 30, and then my ob gyn prescribed duphaston to regulate my menstruation. Crappy part starts here.
I started duphaston (which is practically progesterone, prescribed day 16-25), and first month was all good, except a few pimples. Period came day 30, which was fine, my hopes were up. Then as soon as I started the next month, I had: acne, depression and my period started at day 16 and is not over now (after 7 days). I stopped the medicine and went to see the ob gyn who was a bit confused and told me to relax and not take duphaston anymore. Great.
My question is: wtf do I do now? What supplements should I take? (Atm i take omega 3 and myo inositol). Also, did anyone have weird side effects on progesterone?
Please help. I feel like this is putting so much pressure on me. Thanks!
