What date did you test following egg transfer?

We've just undergone our first round of IVF following reoccurring miscarriages and being told I've got a low egg reserve Had our first transfer on day 5 (fresh) and been given 2 dates to take a pregnancy test..11 days after transfer and 13 days after transfer. I need to ring my clinic back after our second result to update them.

Everyone else I've spoken to have only had 1 test date..usually 2 weeks after egg transfer. I'm worried as the first test may give us false hope or false sadness. I wish we just had the one date. Has anyone had similar? xxx

My official test date was 11 days past transfer for a home test but they had me in at 9 days past for a beta hcg. I did end up having a chemical pregnancy, but my lines were faint and my blood hcg was very low. By 11 days past, it's the equivalent of 16 days past ovulation, so you should have very clear test results.

I'll keep positive and hope for the best for day 11 🤞🏼 It's our wedding anniversary this week and we didn't know whether to do a sneaky early test but that would be day 9. I'd probably be to scared too though in case it's negative xxx

Hi how many days after collection did you have transfer please.? Going through a similar situation. Fingers crossed your result is positive.

@39yearoldwantbaby we had a transfer after 5 days which had made it to blastocyst. Some times if there's one outshining the others they may do a day 3 transfer but hopefully your clinic will keep in contact with you xxx

@PinkFizz19 I had a fresh 5DT and was asked to test on day 11 and tell them, but I also had to take another test a week later before they would book a 7 week scan.

Unfortunately I had a chemical between the first and second test but I think two dates is fairly common 😊

I had a 5 day transfer and tested 6 dpt and had a faint line then 7 dpt which was stronger then tested every day because I couldn't wait. I still tested on day 11 and rang the clinic who then got me a 6 week scan followed by a 8 week scan. Good luck 🤞

I've had 2 transfers.

Transfer 1: Tested day 11 BFN
Transfer 2: Tested day 5: BFP (I FELT different compared to last transfer).

Currently 19 weeks!
