TSH and FET - advice

Has anyone had a normal TSH at the start of the FET process? Mine was 0.3 but then with the oestrogen tablets the TSH has risen quite rapidly. Mine is now 2.85 on day 11 of FET prep. I am due to transfer on Thursday.

I had a thyroidectomy 11 years ago and so take Levothyroxine daily. I’m currently on 150 micrograms a day. My consultant has said if the TSH has risen above 3 by Monday, which is in 3 days time then he will cancel the cycle. The TSH has just risen with the oestrogen by 1.5 in the last 3 days so I’m pretty sure it will actually already be over 3!

My question is, the clinic don’t normally monitor the TsH this closely. They’re only doing it because I had thyroid cancer and previous IVF cycles made my TSH rise to 12.

If anyone has any experience with this or any comments I’d really appreciate it. I understand the mechanism of how oestrogen increases the TSH but can’t find any literature that monitors TSH throughout the oestrogen priming… most just do a test at the start of the FET and then don’t retest until later.

I’m going to head to the clinic tomorrow instead of waiting until Monday. I can’t be in limbo all weekend, just can’t face it. He’s suggested a natural FET if this needs cancelling… I’ve just taken Prostrap injections for three months so really pissed off with all of this. Thanks for reading xx

After 3 months of injections and getting prepared it's so annoying to have to cancel. Do you have any updates?
