Any opinions or advice on ERA test?

Hello all

After 3 rounds of embryo batching we now have 2 euploid embryos.

Bit of background. We have a 2 year old DD from our second ICSi round. Since then we miscarried after our FET, had one failed fresh and then did the embryo batching with PGT A tests. I'm 44 so this is absolutely the end of the road for us. We're thrilled (and somewhat amazed) to have found 2 euploids.

We will be doing EMMA, Alice and NK biopsies and bloods. We have to decide on the ERA.

I've had 2 IVF pregnancies so the consultant says there is nothing to suggest an implantation issue although of course things can change. He wouldn't suggest ERA usually in my situation except for the fact that these are our last ever embryos.

Doing ERA would delay us another month which then (because of other things) means we'd have to wait until December to transfer so ends up being a 3 month delay.

DP is at breaking point so I'd rather get going but on the other hand we don't want to mess this up.

So I suppose I'm looking for opinions and experience of ERA testing from anyone in the know!

Thanks

Xxx

Hi @Janefx40 I think if you're doing the Emma, Alice and nk cells biopsy, you might as well do the era as well. I did the Endometrio tests in a mock cycle last month and my results were back within 8 working days, so I could've started my FET sooner, but we were anticipating the tests finding something that needed treatment. All my test results were normal and the era was receptive. But I'm glad we did them as we've ruled all those factors out.

Good news about your 2 embryos, best of luck xx

I'm trying to get my head back into it, I've got a nurse consultation this week and will do my FET in my next cycle, so hopefully transferring mid October 🤞 @Janefx40 xx

@VenusStarr amazing. If I don't do the ERA we may be doing an FET at the same time
