4DP5DT BFP

I don't usually post on here but I could do with talking to other ttc's that will understand how crazy it makes you.

We had our first round of IVF, I'm 4DP5DT which I know is ridiculously early to test, but because we are unexplained I thought i would test early to see if I can get an idea of if it implants even if I get BFN on test day.

I've just done a cheapie test and this is the result (I did 3 just to make sure of dodgy ones). They are 25 miu (not sure how sensitive this is). BUT I know Trigger can keep HCG in your body so I'm wondering the chances of it being trigger? This was with afternoon urine, and I had my trigger 11 days ago 5000 gonasai.

What do you guys think? Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated 😊

It’s very early for a pregnancy to be showing - the embryo is only just fully implanted on day 3 usually, so it may be trigger but it could also be an early BFP! Good luck 😊

Thanks for replying @Gensola yeah I know I'm being daft testing early but clinging on to a small ray of hope. We had lots of eggs and lots of fertilising but this is the only one that made it to day 5 😞. So I haven't much hope. I did an FRER today and it's a clear line- 5dp5dt, trigger was 12 days ago now, but as you say it can be there for 14 so it could be that (knowing my luck it will). I'll do another one of these tomorrow and see what it does.

I got bfp this early, there was no way I could resist testing. I'd say cautious congrats are in order!!!

Thanks everyone, I am just praying it's not a trigger line 🤞🏻 I'm finding it hard to believe it's a real BFP after the constant disappointment of the ttc rollercoaster 😩

I’ve always tested on 4DP5DT and got a positive each time, both for my chemicals and my successful pregnancy- best of luck with it!

@w00dside thank you! God I hope it's not a chemical, when did the chemical start to fade if you don't mind me asking?I've got darker lines today.

For my first chemical it started fading very slightly around 11DP5DT, for my 2nd I started bleeding around 10DP5DT even though I’d gotten a BFP. My 3rd positive (after my 8th ivf cycle) turned into my twin girls!

Yeah, it’s a head wreck but it’s where you want to be right now, you’re still in the game! That’s how I used look at it - fingers crossed the line continues in the right direction🙏
