Day 3 transfer - any success stories?

I hade my embryo transfer today on day 3, my embryo was an 8 cell and graded 2 which I was told is good and I stand a good chance.

I have low AMH so they only managed to get 4 eggs, 3 were mature and 1 fertilised with icsi. So I opted for a day 3 transfer as I didn’t want to risk losing it.

Any success stories will help me remain positive through my two weeks of torture x

here!

5 collected only 1 fertilised so opted for day 3 transfer and mine was 8 cell but 9cell by the time we got there for transfer, it worked she’s 2 years old now, asleep at side of me… good luck xx

@shazzz1xx amazing thank you!

We got 4 eggs and only 1 fertilised so this gives me hope Smile

Me! 9 eggs collected, but only 5 good enough for ICSI. 3 fertilised, one 8 cell grade 2 transferred on day 3 and I'm now 6+1.

Quality over quantity ❤️

also I prefer day 3 transfers, better off inside you rather than played with in a lab x

My DC was an 8 cell day 3 transfer. The embryologist told me exactly 8 cells on day 3 is optimum. Good luck!

@lawandgin amazing! Thank you and Congratulations!

@shazzz1xx this was my thinking too, much better off back where they belong.

@MabelG thank you for sharing! Only day 1 past transfer and already overthinking and over analysing every little twinge x

@rosie213 I was following this thread as I had a day 3 transfer on 2nd September, my official test date isn't until tomorrow but I tested this morning and got my first BFP! I know it's still a long way to go and I can't quite believe it yet as I was convinced it hadn't worked (I didn't have any symptoms)

lauradxoxo · 12/09/2021 18:15

@Hanopolis awww congratulations on your first BFP!! Was this your first cycle? I had a 5 day transfer on 7th September so only 5 days into 2ww. OTD isn’t until 17th and it’s killing me!! I am praying for my first BFP but also have ZERO symptoms! Xx

Rosie213 · 12/09/2021 20:33

@Hanopolis ahh thanks you and Congratulations! I think I’m totally out unfortunately. I have absolutely zero symptoms and feel completely normal. Which is very different to my previous BFP. My test day isn’t until 20th September but planning to test early on Wednesday as I know for sure trigger will be gone and I just want to be put out of my misery x

@lauradxoxo thank you! Yeah it was my first IVF cycle! I found I was okay until about 4 days before OTD then it was all I could think about, I was wanting to test early but when it came to yesterday I couldn't even look at it I had to get my husband to read it first! Good luck for your OTD 🍀

@rosie213 thank you! Aww no I'm sorry you think it hasn't worked this time. Don't count yourself out though until you've done that test, good luck for Wednesday🤞🏼got my fingers crossed for you!

Hi All, I thought I would come here to update as I know it’s useful for others when searching.

Anyway, to my absolute shock on Monday I got positive test - I honestly can’t believe it and still don’t! I feel so normal have absolutely zero symptoms which is worrying but still very early days!

Did any of you have any symptoms with early pregnancy? X

lawandgin · 24/09/2021 13:14

Congratulations @Rosie213 ! Amazing news. I had lots of symptoms but they were more likely due to OHSS than the pregnancy. It's normal to have symptoms but it's also normal not to have any, so please don't worry! X

MabelG · 24/09/2021 14:31

@Rosie213 that's amazing congratulations! I didn't get any symptoms until about 8 weeks

KatRee · 24/09/2021 17:37

@Rosie213 That's so lovely, congratulations!

Hanopolis · 27/09/2021 09:31

Congratulations @Rosie213 ! I'm six weeks and haven't had many symptoms. A bit of nausea, slightly sore boobs and cramps (although that might be from the progesterone). I had spotting a few days ago which was a scare but apparently the pessaries can irritate the cervix which causes spotting!

Ah, I’ve been watching this thread, hoping for an update like this! Congratulations
