I have done IVF once before which was not successful. 14 eggs retrevied which some of them was not mature and non of them made any embryo. I used the combination of Menapur and Fyremadel.
This time my doctor prescribed Fostimone and Fyremadel. We do blood test on day 5 and ultrasound on 6 after starting the FSH hormone and then on day 9.

Today which was day 6 , I had 12 stimulated follicles with the size of less than 10 mm ( right ovary) and on the left, I had 2 follicles with size of 10mm and 9 follicled less than 10mm. I am worried the sizes are too small because the last time I did this process with Menapur, the sizes on day 6 was mostly around 11-13 mm. Do you think I should be worried at this stage????

Hey there! IVF newbie here! When they give you the stats, don't they comment on their progress? they should let you know if it's good news or bad. It's so stressful not knowing what's happening.
Sorry for not being of any help, but please try to remain as calm as possible, someone more experienced will let you know soon enough ( or the doctors). Good luck!

Hi @zoala001!

I've also done IVF once before - we got to transfer an early blast but it didn't stick.

On our second round now my Day 7 scan showed all my follicles smaller than 10mm. I stimmed for 14 days in total and my Day 14 scan showed 8 out of 10 follicles 14-20mm. Egg collection will be tomorrow so I can update then, but I wouldn't be worried - my doctors seemed confident they'll get all 8.

As @IsabelHerna said, feel free to ask the doctors once you're there. I'm constantly comparing to my previous cycle and the doctors and nurses seem happy enough to talk through it (quickly Grin).
Best of luck and let us know how you get on at your next scan xx
