Anyone in the same situation? Anyone gone through ivf/icsi with undetectable AMH?

Had successful icsi earlier this year which resulted in miscarriage … looks like my situation has got a lot worse

Waiting to here back from doctors

Hi @Furmummy. I am sorry for your results. I have low AMH at 35 but we went ahead earlier this year with icsi which only resulted in 3 eggs retrieved. But unfortunately 1 was immature, 1 was abnormal and the other didn't divide post fertilsation. Due to my low AMH and poor response we are now using a donor for donor eggs and due to start a cycle next month. With such a poor response I didn't want to go through it all again. I understand donor eggs are not for everyone and its a very personal choice though.

Sorry I can help with advice on your low AMH. But hope the doctors can support and advice you further.

I totally understand you not wanting to go through it again .. it’s such a rough process …

Wow that’s amazing I wish you all the best. We have said we are not ready to discuss it quite yet but it is on the table . On top of it I am peri menapausal and struggling with symptoms and looking to go on HRT after this cycle so there is a lot going on. We will do this cycle and maybe it’s something we will discuss if it doesn’t work ..

I know someone who had twins from donor eggs and she and her family are happy healthy and doing so well - hope everything goes well for you xxx
