Bleeding before FET transfer

I had started the progynova for my FET and then started the progesterone support. Sadly on day 3 (2 days before transfer), my endometrium started to shed which resulted in my FET being cancelled. Has anyone had this and gone onto a BFP? If so, what did you change? I am losing hope a little.

That is odd @Bubbafever I'm sorry to hear about this. As far as I'm aware the estradiol should hold off a bleed, what dose did they have you on?

Also I take it this was without downregulation, if so was there any indication that your body was producing its own follicle?

Thanks @Gardenlady543. I was on 8mg progynova and also no down regulation. For my next cycle they are going to down regulate me but I am just so nervous it will happen again. I should mention my fresh transfer was changed to a fet because of early bleeding (on trigger day!) so I am just so worried this keeps happening.

@Bubbafever this is a bizarre one! Why does your specialist think you're bleeding?

8mg of estradiol should be high enough. I would say does progesterone need to be higher. But in the fresh cycle that shouldn't have been an issue.

Have you had any imaging like a saline scan or HSG? I wonder if there is some structural abnormality.

I think downregulation is a good idea, in case your body is releasing any hormones that are interfering with things. I know it must be really disappointing, at least it's happening before the transfer so you haven't wasted any embryos though.

So true. We only have two embryos so I would have been gutted if I started to bleed during or shortly after transfer. I havent had the saline scan or HCG but I will look into that. Thanks for the advive!

@Bubbafever I think it's crazy that the UK don't do this kind of imaging before a transfer. They do in other countries. I think that it will be worth exploring, I can't think of anything else that would cause this issue in these two cycles. If this picks up an abnormality then you will likely need a hysteroscopy to explore further/treat.

I am going through the same. I have my transfer next Tuesday but spotting today and dont know what that means ? They checkecd my lining yesterday and all seemed fine. What do I do ?
