So I'm after a bit of advice / guidance.
Drs have referred me to Gynaecologist as my 21 day bloods have come back low (15 and 10), just had a 3rd lot done but they have referred me anyway. The nurse taking bloods suggested that I should ring hospital and find out where I am in waiting list and if it's a long waiting list I may wish to go private, at least to start the process going. So I'm going to ring once I've got the results of the latest round of test and if the waiting list is 6 months or more I will probably look at going private.
My question is do I need to look at private hospitals with gynaecologists or ivf clinics? And does anyone have any recommendations?
Dr originally said they might be able to get me ovulating better by prescribing something like Clomid, so I may not need to go down the ivf route. I also don't think I would qualify for ivf on nhs as have already have a DS. Also because of this I'm not sure what other tests they would want to do, gp had suggested they might not want to test much else, but I feel like they should at least do an ultrasound.
So I'm just after sone advice on where to go from here really.
