Hello,

I am new and just looking for some advice. I speak to my doctor but of course she is a GP so not all that helpful!

I was diagnosed with PCOS in Sep 2020 after having wildly erratic periods (I had five in total last year ranging from 36 - 90 days). In the Nov 20 my partner came around to the idea of trying, he already has a little girl and I don't have any.

After having the worst period of my life in Jan 21, sorry if this triggers but honestly my first thought was a miscarriage it was that awful! Since then I have been having a period every month, with the help of over the counter supplements and using the ovulation support tablets. I did have a chemical pregnancy in May 21 but we have still been trying for 9 months.

I am not due a visit from Aunt Flo for another week or so. My cycles have become an average of 36 days so I don't know if it's way too early or something else entirely but recently I have had the achy boobs, they feel heavy all the time! I haven't had a cold in well over a year almost 2!! But I woke up with a stuffy nose this morning and I feel exhausted all the time. Now I understand it could just be a cold but with the achy boobs as well it just got me thinking but it's way too early to test (I think I am only about 4/5 DPO (that's if I even have this month!)

I know with PCOS it's hard to determine when/if you ovulated but I would like to know if anyone else with PCOS has experienced similar symptoms and got a BFP? I had some time off work and we relaxed and took the pressure off so I isn't really track other than my period (so my first day of this cycle was 19th July) so 🤞🏻 but I know I need to be patient before I can test!
