Anovulation

Hi all,

I find these threads such a comfort, and was wondering if anyone out there is going through similar - we were lucky and had our first DC without much problem, but now looking TTC DC2 and…I don’t seem to be ovulating. I’ve had initial investigations with the doctor (day 21 tests and ultrasound) which haven’t turned up any answers as to why, and I’m just quite confused and upset at this point as the doctor won’t do anything further at this stage. I’m 31, so I naively assumed it would be straightforward the second time around.

Has anyone had similar, and then started ovulating regularly again? Any experiences greatly appreciated

If your 21 day bloods came back fine then I think that suggests that you are ovulating, so I don't think that's an issue.

We've been trying for #2 for a year and gp just did 21 day bloods ( have to have them repeated 3 times) which have come back low so I've been referred to a gynaecologist as it suggests I'm not ovulating properly. Do you know what your results were?

Will they test your OHs sperm as that might be another thing to check ? when I first went to the drs they said the only things they would check are 21 day bloods and sperm as we already have a child.
