Hi girls. First time poster here so not sure how this all actually works. Bit of background info...I have PCOS, don't get periods very often and dont ovulate naturally. I have gone private and been prescribed my first cycle of Letrozole.

Those of you with PCOS and on letrozole, what day did you ovulate please? I’m on CD 12 after my first cycle of letrozole, and have had my follicle scan this morning. Unfortunately she said that although the endometrium lining was thickening nicely, there wasn’t any dominant follicles 😔 naturally I was very disheartened and upset. She did say it could just need a little bit longer but Negative Nancy over here has already spiralled way down into the dumps and I just feel like it’s not going to be my time, again. I’m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and has seen dominant follicles in later scans or ovulated later? Any advice appreciated 💖 Thanks x

Hi, I'm not diagnosed with PCOS but I wasn't ovulating regularly so was prescribed letrozole. My first cycle I didn't ovulate until day 17 or thereabouts so hopefully it will just be a bit later for you! I didn't have any scans though just a day 21 blood test to confirm ovulation. Hope this helps!

I've ovulated cd 15, 19, 15 and 20. Don't give up just yet. Assume you're going to have a second scan to check for any late development?

Thanks ladies 😊 I'm trying to remain hopeful, I do have another 3 scans as part of the cycle package. I've got my next one on Friday morning, so keeping everything crossed something changes over the next few days and it'll show me something positive 🤞🏼 x
