Google hfea for all the stats.

I'm not London basses, so have no recommendations. I see ArGC, CRGH, the Lister mentioned a lot, but I'm sure there are more.

I went to argc, I had two rounds. I had low amh and hardly any follicles and surprised they took me on. They really pushed me and I retrieved 7 eggs from 7 follicles and got 2 blasts. I thought that was a decent result. They closely monitored me every day so they could alter the drugs accordingly. The second ivf was converted to iui as a ovulated early which everyone was shocked by but I ended up pregnant and am in second trimester.
It’s expensive there but the way I saw it - I’d rather pay more for one or two cycles then less for 3/4 cycles ( which end up adding up to the same !)
It’s very fast paced in there and some people call It a boot camp. I got a lot of love and care there and so saw another side. The nurses cheered in the staff room when my iui became a pregnancy, for example. I was an extremely anxious patient as had multiple mmc before and they were understanding.
One of my natural pregnancies they helped monitor and I lost it at 9 weeks. They were so kind to me and wrote a letter to the hospital and called them to book me an appointment for next steps.
I applied to crgh as they have good results too but we didn’t feel they were for us in the end.

The lister was third on my list but there were a lot of negative reviews I found so opted not to explore further

Hi, jumping on this too if you don't mind. Great to hear about ARGC I'm in two minds of what to do. I was with LWC and after 3 retrievals which included two failed transfers I've decided they aren't for us. Towards the end it just felt like they were more interested in pushing me through and not giving me any advice along the way. I changed my diet, took supplements etc but currently feel deflated. I'm 42 and my last BFN was in June so I would really like to find a new clinic and start again by Sept. The clinics I've shortlisted are Simply Fertility, Create and CRGH. Any advice gratefully received 🙏

Hiya. I've done 2 rounds of ICSI + FET at ARGC, 1 round of ICSI at Guys and 2 rounds of embryo banking at CRGH.

It depends on your circumstances. If you have had multiple failures or miscarriages and have deep pockets, I would definitely go to ARGC. Like @Notanolympian I've always found them incredibly thorough and really kind and supportive. If you are a more straight forward case, CRGH are good too. They won't throw the kitchen sink at it in the same way but it's a more relaxing place to be and you'll take fewer drugs. Guys is a total shitshow to be avoided at all costs in my personal experience!

Best of luck

Xxx

Awh thank you for responding. I'm 42 and the most eggs I've got from a retrieval is 5 so doubt I'm straight forward sadly. Ive also been told I have diminishing ovarian reserves Sad ARGC are pipping very high compared to others. Thank you.

Janefx40 · 12/08/2021 21:14

@RaffAttack diminished ovarian reserve isn't necessarily complex it's just often a fact for us older ladies! You do need a lot of money to cycle at ARGC and be prepared for daily blood tests and a lot of meds. They're great at getting lots of eggs in my opinion but it's hard graft there. They will also test your immune system, treat you with expensive drips (nearly everyone needs treatment), do a hysteroscopy when you start. You do need at least £15k for a first cycle - more if it is successful. I have huge respect and affection for them but you do need to be aware of the costs. Best of luck x

RaffAttack · 12/08/2021 21:31

That's sooo helpful. Thank you so much 💓

MGee123 · 12/08/2021 21:40

We had a good experience at Kings Fertility. Price wise they were very competitive and I found the staff kind, efficient and organised. We were very lucky to be successful with our first round and would happily go back if/when needed.

Hi there! Not based in London, but I have found a 3rd party clinic rating organization. They post reviews from patients but also, they sent specialists to check the clinics and they write an official review as well.

Hope it helps!

Hi,

I am looking for suggestions too.
ARGC has the best success rate so far but their pricing structure are really confusing.
How much would a Ivf cycle costs in ARGC with blood test, embryo freezing and transfer

I've heard it's around 20k. Pricing structure is very confusing. We're not any closer to picking 😕
hopeful02 · 06/09/2021 12:41

@RaffAttack - 20K that's quiet high!

I checked their website and they seem to be charging only £3300 for Ivf but it's all the add ons.. like each blood tests are so expensive and I am sure they will want us to repeat everything with them again even if NHS did some of the test before.

I have also heard about Dr Anil Gudi - he seems have many useful videos in YouTube and he offers a personalised IVf with fertility plus in Harley street where we works along with London women clinic

In the website the price is quoted as £10K just for Ivf and with blood test snd frozen cycles they can again easily go up to £20k

I've had 2 failed cycles before but again I am not a very complex case, my egg quality is a problem so not sure if it's worth spending more than £15k on each cycle.

hopeful02 · 06/09/2021 12:42

I wonder if anyone here has used Access fertility they seem to do 50% refund and they are tied up with CRGH, lister and few more clinics

Janefx40 · 06/09/2021 12:45

@hopeful02 @RaffAttack ARGC does add up. They don't charge any more than others for individual procedures or tests but they do a lot more of everything so it adds up. Our cheapest cycle was £12k I think. That was hysteroscopy (which they will give you first time), ICSI and transfer but no immunes. You need to have £15-20k to spend for a cycle. You may not spend it all but it's not a place to go if you're trying to stick to a smaller budget because you would be stressed the whole time. Best of luck

hopeful02 · 06/09/2021 12:54

@Janefx40 - I really want a child of my own but at the same time I don't want to spend all my savings in just one cycle.

It's such a difficult choice to make

Janefx40 · 06/09/2021 14:58

@hopeful02 ARGC aren't the only clinic - they work out as one of the most expensive but others are good too. I don't know your circumstances but CRGH are also a great clinic and are on the list for access fertility. My egg banking cycles each cost £7500 but that doesn't include transfer.

RaffAttack · 06/09/2021 20:08

Yeah I'm same it's the egg quality. I had my previous 3 cycles with London Women's Clinic but towards the 3rd cycle felt like they'd lost interest and I was just another cheque on a conveyor belt.

RaffAttack · 06/09/2021 20:10

Thank you this is very helpful. I'm put in to have consultations with ARGC, Create, CRGH and Simply Fertility. I'm going to go with my gut and who I feel I get the right good vibes from

hopeful02 · 06/09/2021 22:20

@RaffAttack - please keep us updated with the clinic you choose

@Janefx40 - CRGH is with access so thinking of considering them.. how has your experience been so far? Do they monitor you close enough?

Janefx40 · 06/09/2021 23:05

@hopeful02 CRGH are a good clinic. They monitor as much as most clinics. Scans and bloods on baseline then day 6, 9 and 11. I think it depends on your history. I stim ok so wasn't too worried about that level of monitoring. ARGC would have done daily bloods and more regular scans but I didn't mind. I think it depends on your circumstances. They are very professional tho and the scans feel more dee we detailed. It's hard the compare as they are very different clinics x

Agapanthus13 · 07/09/2021 07:14

Morning all,

May I ask if anyone has had treatment at Chelsea & Westminster hospital, and if so how you found them?

MummyDiaries · 15/05/2022 20:56

@RaffAttack @FAL0902 may i ask what have you decided in the end? I’m considering to move to ARGC so your experience/feedback would be much appreciated.

FAL0902 · 19/05/2022 09:45

@RaffAttack
No I did not go anywhere..
Due to some issues , I am not going in to the treatments at a moment .. but if you can share your experience than it will be appreciated..
