I found out I had slight PCOS at start of year. I was put on metformin to help level out my hormones etc…I’ve always had regular periods though.
Almost 2 weeks ago I woke up and I had started spotting. 9 days before I was due my period and 3 days after my fertile window. It was pink/browny when I wiped, by the end of the day it had gotten a little heavier and marked my knickers. By mid day that day I also got a sharpe pain for a short while below my belly button in the centre.
I was due on my period Wednesday, it didn’t come so I tested the next day but BFN!
Since then I have felt so tired had hot flushes, I’ve had a dull ache in my lower back mainly on my left side and an ache across my lower abdomen, not as strong as period pain. At times it felt tingly.
It’s Sunday and I have tested again and got a BFN again. I have read with PCOS you can get a number of false negatives.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I’ve never been late before just so confused!
Am I just symptom spotting?
