Letrozole/ anovulation /pcos/ trying to get pregnant

Hi dod anyone here used Letrozole on order to stimulate ovulation?

I am now on 7.5 mg and still not seeing hope for ovulation I had mu OPK positive on the 19th but I am wondering if the egg was realised😩😩😩😩😩😩

I did one monitored round on letrozole, had 7.5mg and did have 3 follicles but one didn't ovulate are you being monitored at all? I had a couple of scans which also showed my lining was really thin, so I also needed progynova and a trigger injection and felt ovulation quite strongly. I know some people have bloods instead to confirm ovulation.

What makes you think it's not working?

Its really hard to communicate with my fertility dr ( nhs), so the only thing I am having to check is blood tests on every 21st day of cycle. Last cycle wit came back as progesterone was 9ng/mL and you need to have it above 10 to indicate that ovulation had a place.

So its clearly with me anovulation, I had no scans done or anything like that as I said its really hard to get on hold with my DR and I am seeing her only overy 3 months and its just to catch up and increase my Letrozole.

I came to the moment where I am just giving up and no seeing any hope.

Can I ask you if you went privately or through the nhs?

Also dod you get pregnant at the end?

I had the letrozole privately and then my ivf cycle through the nhs.

What cycle day was the positive opk? Ideally you need to have the progesterone blood test done 7 days before your period. It's possible you've not had it done on the right day. Do you measure your bbt?

@VenusStarr positive OPK was on 19th( I have attached a photo as you can see the line is still not dark enough !) 😩 I did not check the BBT this cycle as I am so tired of this :( literally I am giving up.

The blood test to check if ovulation occurred is 7 days before my AF is due / 21 day of cycle.

So I had done my blood test yeasterday but still waiting for the results.

@VenusStarr I will also mention that the day after my ovulation I was feeling horrible! Like never before, bloated, with pain similar to menstrual one so I was quite sure the ovulation happend.
