Chemical just before starting ivf

Hypothetic situation (well kind of)

I understand that if I got pregnant and miscarried just before my ivf was due to start then I should tell the clinic. They suggest waiting 2 bleeds before ivf begins.

But what happens if I have a chemical just before ivf injections start (start injections on CD1 a on short protocol)?

My DH says I should tell the clinic but I think they will just make us wait longer to start. I think if it’s a chemical then I can just start injecting when my period arrives.

The reason I ask is that I’ve got some pregnancy symptoms now and I had watery blood bleeding 7/8 dpo. I’ve also been spotting for a few days now only on wiping. This doesn’t happen to me in a non pregnant cycle. So I feel like it’s a chemical. Period is due in 3 days.

Has anyone experienced a chemical and ivf before?

I'd wait a cycle, personally. I'd kick myself if the ivf cycle was a failure and that would make having the chemical all the worse. I'd be thinking what if?

I really hope this isn't a chemical for you. They're awful.
