Norethisterone Bleed

I stopped taking Norethisterone on Sunday and just wondered when I could expect a bleed?

Google says 48 hours so I'm hoping tonight or tomorrow! But wondered if anyone had any experience?

Hi I took my norethisterone for 6 days only before starting ivf , and started the bleed on the 4th day so after 3 full days but I have read other posts where people said 5-6 days but normally it should be 2-5 days , that’s what my nurse told me . Good luck

I stopped taking the tablets on Saturday and period arrived on Tuesday .

@2021babyhope hey, yeah I don’t think it matters really how long you take the tablets for , It won’t make a difference to the timing of the bleed after stopping the norethisterone , even if I take it for 2 weeks or 4 weeks or 6 days , the period should still arrive few days after stopping the norethisterone tablets . And yes if you’re like me then you period should start tomorrow but don’t be dissapointed if not , it won’t be long after that if not tomorrow , my nurse originally told me probably 5 days but it came after 3

@ShareLove fingers crossed 😊 I've spent the last 2 years dreading my period and now I'm willing it to start 😅

I just hope it starts before Saturday!
