IVF and short luteal phase

I will be starting lubion injections and cyclogest pessaries after egg collection for a luteal phase of 8 days.

If I have a fresh transfer on day 3 does that mean technically I might only have 5 days to wait before I'd know if things had maybe worked ? I have had x3 medicated IUI with letrozole and cyclogest that failed. My luteal phase for the past 2 years has been consistently 8-10 days I've NEVER had the joy of taking a preg test as I always bleed before test day.. So I'm thinking If the lubion and cyclogest work after collection, a good sign for me would be no bleeding on 5dpt? Or if we transfer a day 5 embryo..no bleeding 3dpt (8 days post collection)..is that how it works??

Hi OP just wanted to say that I also have a short luteal phase of 10 days . My first fresh cycle failed and I bled a day before I was due to take the test , for my FET I added two doses of lubion with two cyclogest a day and that’s the cycle I fell pregnant. Could be totally coincidental but I would take lubion again. Sorry I can decipher your questions but just wanted to share my story about lubion

Best of luck for your cycle I really hope lubion is the missing link for you too :) I re-read your post I think that the lubion and cyclogest should stop any bleeding, and I know this is frustrating but the only way to tell if it’s worked is to take a test. In my first cycle I couldn’t wait to test, In my second I told myself I wanted to stay PUPO as long as I could.
