We are about to begin our first IVF cycle but here's a bit of background to it!
TTC for over a year and no luck. Referred to NHS for investigations back in February but decided to go private due to waiting times and we wouldn't be eligible for NHS funding as my partner already has DD.
We have now had our investigations and turns out my partner has a low sperm count and morphology. My AMH was 55 which consultant said was great for my age (25 years old) but possible PCOS?
He has put us down for a short protocol IVF with ICSI.
We have completed our consent forms online and have our nurse planning appointment this Thursday so I just wondered if anyone can enlighten me as to what happens at this appointment and how soon after would we be able to start our first round? (I.e. if my cycle starts in 2 weeks would that be too soon?)
