Double trigger experience

In my previous 4 cycles, I've responded well but some of my eggs have been immature and they have struggled to aspirate some eggs.

I've been advised to do a double trigger so doing this on my next cycle.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Does it work and did you get more eggs?

No help to you but I’m also interested to hear as this has been suggested for me for my next round by my consultant

My trigger was changed completely and the dosage was doubled. I went from 5 eggs (when they were expecting at least 10) to 15! Hopefully you have a similar experience

I have only done one cycle so can't compare, but had a double trigger and got 6 eggs, all were mature and 5 fertilised. I only had 6 or 7 follicles of decent size so pretty much maxed out in terms of potential numbers I think.

Thanks so much for letting me know, that all sounds really positive! Hope we get similar results 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi ladies.
sorry to jump on the band wagon late I’m just wondering how your double trigger cycles went?
im on admin cycle atm due to start November with a double trigger round this time as last time our embryos went from 11 fertilised down to 2 remaining embryos, 1 grade D and 1 grade C grade C was transfered but failed.
They’ve said we can’t do a fresh transfer it has to be frozen because of the double trigger. Does anyone know why? I’m talking to the nurse next week but thought I’d ask here too. How did you find the double trigger was it horrendous or just like a normal ivf cycle?

xx
