@DNpink82 hey just thought to check in and see how you are getting on

DNpink82 · 08/05/2022 13:33

@Bellwells im just waiting for AF to arrive this week and then start stims 😬 it’s all happened very quickly

how’s everyone else getting on?

Bellwells · 08/05/2022 13:39

Oh that is amazing! @DNpink82

This is why I like going private with NHS funding because it is so much quicker!

I’m doing PGD testing with my treatment so I am just waiting for my parents genetics results which I chased on Friday, so I’m hoping I will have them Monday/Tuesday.
The next step will be to have our genetic workup done which takes 4-6 weeks. So the clinic are anticipating for us to start July but if it is done sooner we can start sooner.

Bellwells · 13/05/2022 00:49

@DNpink82 did AF arrive?

DNpink82 · 13/05/2022 06:29

@Bellwells it did and I started stims on Weds 😬

Bellwells · 13/05/2022 08:06

@DNpink82 how do you feel?

DNpink82 · 14/05/2022 07:28

I feel rubbish if I'm honest, I cried yesterday for no reason at all and feel groggy like I'm getting a cold BUT it'll be worth it 🤞🏼

Bellwells · 16/05/2022 20:29

Oh no I’m sorry to hear that! @DNpink82
are you feeling any better now?

oh it will 100% be worth it, just think soon it will be time for EC and ET.

DNpink82 · 16/05/2022 20:34

@Bellwells all these hormones are rubbish, I started the second injection yesterday and it burns I just keep telling myself it'll will definitely be worth it. I can't wait for egg collection and I think my husband will be happy when the injections are over, I just swear at him a lot lol 😂

Bellwells · 29/05/2022 10:48

@DNpink82 do you use an I e pack to numb the area before doing the injection?

when is EC and ET scheduled for?

DNpink82 · 29/05/2022 10:53

@Bellwells no the injections didn't really hurt. I had EC last Monday and ET yesterday 😬 we got 9 eggs, 7 fertilised and 3 made it to day 5, 2 now in the freezer

have you had your genetics results back?

Bellwells · 29/05/2022 14:19

@DNpink82 oh that’s amazing congratulations!

Yes results are back and the saliva kit was sent off last Friday so the workup should be complete by July 4th at the latest.

Bellwells · 20/06/2022 19:11

@DNpink82 how are you getting on?

DNpink82 · 20/06/2022 22:08

So first transfer worked, I’m 6 weeks today 😬 it still seems unreal and is a constant worry, we have our first scan on 28th to check everything is ok 🤞🏼

are you any further along?

Bellwells · 20/06/2022 23:27

Congratulations!!! @DNpink82 oh how exciting! Have you worked out your due date yet?

I had an email today confirming my work up is complete , woohoo! My nurses appointment is booked for the 28th (its a video call) but I’m trying to change it to the 30th as I am away and not sure how my internet connection will be (I’m sure it will be okay but it’s better to be safe than sorry). Once that’s done I just need to wait for AF to arrive go in do the dummy transfer and the required scans before day 13 and I start NET day 14.

DNpink82 · 20/06/2022 23:30

Should be due 12th February.

how exciting for you, it’s all getting so close now. I can’t believe how quick it all happened once it got started. Good luck, I hope it works first time for you xx
