Ovulation stimulation and period pains

Hi,
I have recently gone through the treatment ovulation stimulation. So I injected menopur for 16days and finally got my 1 follicle I needed. I then did my trigger shot just over 2 weeks ago. Me and my partner then did our side of it for over a week. I don't feel any different but my boobs are so sore and massive! I started having period pains on Sunday so I presume we haven't been caught and the period is on its way but still it hasn't come and my app tells me that I am now late for my period. I am going to do a pregnancy test on Saturday if I haven't come on. I did think that my period pain could be implantion pains but apparently they only last a few days. Has anyone else had period pains for a while but still got pregnant?

What day have your clinic asked you to test? Are you taking progesterone? There are plenty of stories of woman convinced their period was starting but then had bfp, and those with sore boobs nausea etc and bfn, I think reading into it too much isn't helpful (I do it too I know how hard it is!) the only way of knowing would be to do a pregnancy test! The progesterone gives side effects too.
Good luck xx

I had terrible period pains for days and I kept thinking my period was on its way and it never came (we were medicated IUI). I was terrified to test as I just thought as soon as I whip the test out I was bound to start. I was a week late before I dared! My DS was born last November. Good luck OP!
