Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find out the cheapest place to buy lubion. Is Asda good? Does anyone have any example prices? Thanks!

Hello @mouse1234567 as far as I'm aware lubion is cheapest at Asda, that's where I go. I can't tell you the price because they don't give me the costs itemized. If you call them up they should be able to tell you the cost though, make sure you tell them it needs to be cost price as it's for IVF.

My clinic gave me an invoice for meds for a recent FET, the total cost from them was £750 which included estradiol, lubion, cyclogest and heparin. And from Asda it was under £317, so well worth sourcing it from there.

The Asda I used were really helpful. I can't remember what my Lubion cost but it was definitely cheaper than Stork.

Thanks so much -this is really helpful! I’m gutted as I have loads of packets of lubion but they will be one month out of date and so I don’t think I can risk it when paying all that money for ivf.

Check with your clinic - drugs are effective well after the expiry date & they may well tell you to go for it. Personally one month out wouldn’t bother me as someone who has done (unfortunately) a lot of IVF! Progesterone is pretty easy to check as well in terms of whether it’s working.

@Porridgeislife this is a good point. I see my consultant on Monday and will ask. One month does seem like a very small difference. Thanks.
