Vaccine before FET

Sorry I know there are some previous threads on this but they all seem to be from a while ago.

I'm not in UK so have only been called for the vaccine now. Depending on cycle dates etc, I'm likely to get the second dose about a week before an FET. I previously asked my clinic about this and they said that I shouldn't get the vaccine if I have started any meds for FET cycle. However other things I've read seem to indicate that it's fine as long as there's a few days between the vaccine and the procedure. I'm reluctant to delay the FET if it's not necessary as there are waiting lists with my clinic so it's unlikely to be just a one month delay.

I'm going to talk to my clinic again to see if their stance is still the same but I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar situation?

Thanks

My clinic advised:

It is preferable to have the vaccine injection at least 3 days before starting any fertility drugs, producing a sperm sample for insemination, or having an embryo transfer. This is because some people feel unwell after injection due to immune response. However, the vaccine can be given at any time during fertility treatment if the benefits of vaccination outweigh any unknown risks.

I have my second vaccination booked for the day that will probably be day 6 of my FET cycle (so day 5 of progynova). My clinic said it's fine. They advised not to get it in the few days before ET in case I get a temperature as a side effect. I would think a week is long enough for any side effects to have finished before your transfer. Maybe ask them for the reason why they advise against it during the whole cycle - eg would the vaccine/side effects interfere with drugs or cause your lining not to develop properly?

I had my first vaccination the day before starting stims for my fresh cycle and it was fine - and I had no side effects from the vaccine.

Thank you both, I'm waiting for a call back from the clinic so it's good to be armed with some information.
