5AA success/failure stories

Hi folks got my eggs retrieved in my second IVF cycle.

20 eggs
16 mature eggs
11 fertilised
All were behind on day 3
Day 5 - only 1 made it to blastocyst 5AB

Please share your success/failure stories with any AB grade embryos.

Honestly, try not to get so hung up on the grading. I actually don't think it's helpful some clinics focus on this so much. You will hear plenty of stories where high grade embryos didn't implant and low grade ones did. It isn't an exact science. Our 13 week old baby hadn't even reached blast on day 5 so was ungradeable and on paper a fairly rubbish chance, but here he are! As others have said, clinics won't transfer an embryo that doesn't have a viable chance. Best of luck to you all 🤞

We had 17 than 4 made it to be fertilized 1 made it to blast. She was a 5AA and we are now 18w! She is perfect, growing, active on ultrasounds and strong heartbeat.

Not sure if this page is active. But I’m really struggling with this whole grading thing. I had 5AA x2, one Mc at 9weeks and one fail. And a 4AA fail. I’m in my mid thirties. Nothing wrong with hormones, womb thickness and husbands sperm is good. Just so confused. What is going wrong?
