London clinic help

Swaying between CRGH, CARE, Evewell - how do we decide?! I've read hfea website and they're all fairly similar. Location and cost not too important. We're transferring embryos from abroad so will just be FET. Please help! Or other clinic suggestions? Thanks!

I'm terrified of making wrong choice. These 3 frozen embryos are our last chance as husband has lost both testicles to cancer now.

Hi @Scottishgirl85 - could you go and visit each one? We were at Lister which was good. I have had friends at CRGH who loved it. But I suspect that most of them are pretty similar on success rates, as you say.

London’s women’s clinic very mixed reviews from people I know (I know a couple of couples who have moved from there), but on the other hand two of my friends have both had two children with them. So I think it’s so hard to tell and much depends on how you find them!

I really liked Evewell when I met with them (but ultimately decided to stay with Lister).

Thanks so much for your reply @Shamoo
Yes we've signed up to open evenings where they are offered, unfortunately all online rather than in person.
Just no idea how we'll decide! I guess there are good and bad reviews everywhere, depending on whether people had success or not.
From what I can tell CRGH are a nightmare with admin, so since you can't visit it seems like big gamble if first impression via email and phone isn't good, but stats are great.
On other hand, Evewell communication is wonderful but such a new clinic and so stats not really reliable. Aaagh!

Had a lovely experience with London women's clinic x

I shopped around for so long and I just got a lovely feel

We had a failed 1st cycle but currently having testing done for dna fragmentation and the consultant didn't want us to use another cycle ( we went through access who I would also highly recommend) until this testing

I would highly recommend them x

@strawberrysummer19 thank you, what is access? Good luck x

@Scottishgirl85 to be fair I think quite a few of them are pretty poor with admin.

@Scottishgirl85
www.accessfertility.com/?adscmpid=746254971&adsadid=69673700549&adsmatchtype=p&adsnetwork=g&adscreative=348010336029&utmterm=access%20fertility&adstargetid=kwd-343531273370&utmcampaign&utmsource=adwords&utmmedium=ppc&ttv=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2ezVneqz8QIVAuDtCh37ugUeEAAYASAAEgJtovD_BwE

So we paid £8,300 for 2 cycles through access

They also do other schemes I guess for people younger - they do refund schemes but we didn't qualify

Still worked out loads cheaper for us x
