Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a clinic. Unfortunately just had a failed NHS round at Exeter, I responded poorly to medication only produced 2 follicles and at collection they didn't get any eggs. I like Exeter, however if I stay with them I think I may go to bottom of their long waiting list. Plus they have said there is not much they can change for a different outcome. Whereas Dr Google has suggetsed change in protocol, change in medication. So want a clinic that is more flexible to individual needs. I have been looking at create and care in Bristol or the new Plymouth clinic. Any experience of these clinics particularly for older women (I am 39) with low AMH much appreciated 🙂

Hi @Needahaircut81 ! I wondered what you did in the end? I’m 39 and have an Amh of 8.8, and have been advised to consider IVF. I’m considering Create Bristol… looks like you’re a year ahead of me? I’d love to hear any advise you might have? Many thanks! 🙏

Hi @mamamooo I didn’t go with a new clinic in the end. I had a consult and they advised same as Exeter, that could only go ahead with donor eggs. They all said I was perimenopause.
Yet never checked my bloods! So they were going off bloods over a year old that were ok. Anyway, we stopped fertility treatment and I approached my GP for HRT. He checked my blood and said I wasn’t perimenopause and didn’t need HRT, but I had low cortisol. So I am now under endocrinology and they are exploring adrenal insufficiency. Which can apparently cause fertility issues. So my advice would be ensure you get through blood tests so you know what is going on for you.

Oh gosh that sounds stressful. I hope the endocrinologist gets to the bottom of things to you. Turns out this whole topic of fertility is a total minefield!!
